This has happened to me in each of my last several games - I'll trade a resource for some techs or cash. Then, through some reason that I have no idea about, the deal will get cancelled. Maybe they get in a war and their capital gets cut off; I really don't know. What ticks me off is that from now on, none of the civs (even the ones I haven't discovered yet) will trade much of anything for resources. If I draw up a deal that will be accepted, they "will be insulted" if I add a resource. It would be a lot better if they could realize whether or not I was the one at fault. I haven't had this problem before I got 1.21. Anyone noticing this, or are you just luckier with your trade deals?

It seemed to me that trading was more difficult with 1.21 but I wasnt sure if it was just me.We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI

That must be why in my current game everyone says I betrayed the Greeks. I didn't do a darn thing to them, that I can recall. And then one day they come into my territory, I politely ask them to leave, and BAM they declare war on me.
Ever since then, I've been the world's bad boy whom everyone dislikes. It did lead to a cool, massive World War though with all 16 civs involved on 2 opposing sides. At least my side won!Tutto nel mondo è burla
