Forbidden Palace

does anyone know just how many cities one has to have on a HUGE map to be able to build the dang forbidden palace. it's been ages since i've played a game where i could build the FP. i don't know just how many cities i have in my current game but i'm guessing it's close to 150.

any ideas?

i think it's 8 no matter what.

It's half of the optimal city number. A huge map is 32, meaning that 16 cities are required to build the forbidden palace. Unless of course that's been modded. Are you playing a mod? If you are open up that bic in the editor and check under the world sizes tab by optimal city number. That number is also modified by the difficulty, but not by much.

it's half of whatever the Optimal City Number is. I'm not sure, but on huge I believe that would make it either 12 or 16. You can check it by opening up the editor and looking at it on the maps tab.

It took me a while to figure out why I couldn't get the FP.

yup...i did modify it so i just have to go back and check out the optimal number that i set the map too. thanks for the replies!
