a couple of questions Mac version

On the homepage of Civ3 it states the requirments as OS9.2 or higher.
My manual says OS 8.6 or higher...?... Also, I read a post that said one needs Uraniaum and Oil to build ICBM's and Tactical nukes. My manual says Aluminum and uranium. And too, what techs do you need to build nukes? (I had alum. and Uran. but could not build any nukes-i was counting on these to counter the germans-but soon had panzers racing through my civ (American).

I'm running civ3 on Mac 8.6 w/ 288 mb RAM --- it runs great.

There were changes to the game after the manual was printed. You can check the answers to your questions in the civilopedia while playing a game. I don't recall at the moment what resources are required for nukes. In order to build nukes, a civ (doesn't have to be you) must build the Manhattan Project wonder. The required tech is fission. This is all I can gather from your post.
