Industrial age in 800 - 1400 AD

Tech-whoring definitely takes a lot out of the game. IMO, you don't get to "enjoy" the early ages since you have to keep up with the other techs or be left behind.

So has Firaxis said they will be fixing this, or are we stuck with it?
