  • Knowing your Enemies too well

basically i'm kind of tired of meeting the germans and having Bismark always start off annoyed, despite the varying sizes of our empires / armies / culture. he just ALWAYS starts like that.

i realize some consider this a "feature", whereas real world leaders act as themselves, but IMHO the leaders should actually LOOK AT THE DAMN WORLD before being "annoyed" with me.

Hey, Uber, chances are they're all going to hate you eventually. Some cultures -- Germans, Aztecs, etc. -- just decide to hate you earlier.

Actually, I don't mind that. Certain cultures -- certainly in Civ, at least -- are inherently war-like, and thus will naturally exhibit an annoyance with their neighbors from the get go.

i would prefer there to be some randomness though!

knowing the germans are gonna s**w you eventually
isn't my idea of fun. maybe they could change(read: have different attributes) after every age.

I don't have that problem with Germany, only because I always give them free techs every so often. Great for MPP in industrial age and having their panzers helping me in my wars.

I dont think its just the germans though. seems that any of the milataristic civs do really dumb stuff, like they are exhibiting "military intellegence". maybe its just me but on the bigger maps they seem to be the first civs eradicated/subjugated.
if it is referred to as commen sense why is it not commen?
