    Have you ever played MP before? You can click on your cities and manage them when it's not your turn, check the demographics, etc. There's never a point when there is nothing to do, unless you're in a huge game. No one plays people who are excesively slow, and if you can't stand a game with several players, then play one on ones, I usually do. Trust me, you won't be waiting that long, and it sure beats a pathetically stupid and weak AI.
    well, thats where certain elements come into play, all those "brand new" "state of the art" "innovative" multiplayer ideas firaxis promisied us oh so long ago.

    like, to have allys move at the same time, and stuff.

      Hmmmmmmmmmm

      So does it matter if it was official or non-official patch, there still was one to install and play multiplayer.........For Civ 2 that is.

        some supersmart hacker here should find out how to "set human player" to any save games, and make a shotty PBEM system

            Wow, that one is a good idea actually, would work perfectly and solve all the problems of simul. Never thought of that.

            I think markusf created something like that for civ3 awhile back, or at least he was trying. Don't know if he got it working.
