I often receive trade offers from other leaders where they want to trade me the technology I am presently developing. Is there a way, on the diplomacy screen, when you receive an offer to view the "big picture" to see where your technology lies or to at least find out what your technology in process is? Thanks.

I'm not sure whether this is of any help to you or not, but you can find out what tech you're reasearching and how long it will take by looking in that little box thing in the bottom right of the screen, that has loads of information and it has you're current tech research at the bottom.

As for seeing the actual tech tree during negotiations, I don't think you can although the shortcut (F6) may take you there, I'll have to try that one myself.
