Iv finally got a game in the 1800's. But I have a couple questions.
How do I delete the scenario games that I have saved? I save after most turns and I would like to trash the saves.
In Civ II I could surf and work behind the game, but I can't find my desktop when I'm playing Civ III. Is it possible?
I read anovel while the other civs complete their turns. The time between turns is a real bite! I/m downloading the patch as I type. so I hope it speeds things up.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me. Iv enjoyed reading the strategy posts. GREAT SITE!

Oh goody! Questions I can answer!

You have to do file management outside the game. If you have a PC you can use Explorer to delete, rename, move files.

When you are playing Civ you can access other programs by means of the Windows key to access the Taskbar and Start Button. Or you can switch among open windows by alt+Tab.

Civ 3 does not have a Minimize hot key

Very easy to do. Quit trying to play HUGE games.

Well untill Brian Reynolds and his Big Huge Games produces something.

Huge maps were added in at the last minute and drag down even the fastest of PCs. Some things have been improved in the patch but nothing is going to make huge maps run truly quickly.Think about how many units are being used in the later eras. Thousands.

It seems boorish to quote myself, but I could add that you can open Explorer by hitting the Windows key + E.
