i was wondering if there where any codes just in a game V.S. the computers (Sid meier's civ III) because i tried a lot of codes but none of them worked with me. i'm now very unhappy

There be NO cheat codes to Civ3.
The Editor is it. Can't do much in the way of scenarios yet either -- wait till later.Comment

try leemur as your King or Leader name when you chose your Civ.

There are a few "trainer" utilites out there that you can download... they basically let you give yourself tons of cash in the game. Closest thing to a cheat code that you'll find...Infograme: n: a message received and understood that produces certain anger, wrath, and scorn in its recipient. (Don't believe me? Look up 'info' and 'grame' at dictionary.com.)Comment
