Has anyone had this happen? My war machine was tearing through two enemy civilizations on an island which I had already established two cities. I was capturing numerous workers as cities were captured and razed. I sent the workers to one of my cities to keep them safe until I could ship them out.
However, as each worker arrived at the 'safe' city they were fired upon and killed by my Mech Infantry defending the city. As the first worker was gunned down I thought maybe I didn't see the incident accurately. However, the next turn brought a second killing of a worker seeking safety. Then, on the same turn, a third worker arrived and was promptly killed. I then stopped sending captured workers to the city and instead sent them to a mountain top fortress defended by infantry.
Gotta wonder what would be going through those workers minds as they went up that mountain road. They weren't murdered.
