  • Cities won't grow past 12!!!

    Help!
I rushed up to monarchy (as the egyptians) and now none of my cities will grow past a population of 12. What do i need to do?
    Any help is appreciated...

    thanks!

No, not until he has the required advance. Until then I suggest boosting research and production, making the city make less waste food.

                How about this

                Size 2 city

"Sir ______ City has finished Temple...shall we start on Pyramids (200 turns?)"

One OS to rule them all,
                One OS to find them,
One OS to bring them all
and in the darkness bind them.

This is an example of where the manual and Civilopedia are deficient. Yes, the answer is there if you read it cover to cover and highlight it with your yellow marker, but otherwise, there's no way (that I've found at least) to find the answer using the simple and age-old technique of looking in the index of the manual or Civilopedia under "growth" or something like that. It's a great game, but they could have done a lot better making information easily accessible.

I agree, the index isn't much help at all.
