  • Does anybody met citizen reduce while attacked?

Hi, guys, I'm new at Apolyton, really happy to see so many fans

    my question is:

while I attack rival's city, it's citizen will cut down per hit.
And, what should it happen while only 1 citizen remains?
before 1.16f patch, I could get rival's city in such conditon,
keep size 1, but post patch, it couldn't, the city "razed",
    like CIV 2.

I couldn't find any further announcement about this change,
    any help ?

    thanks

so I couldn't get rival's small city at early era any more, sigh...

and also with the favorite strategy that follow rival's settler/spearman pair, sneak their founding town.

Seems it got more difficulty post-patch, isn't it?

BTW, I've beat deity on stantard map, 8 civ, before 1500, without patch, but now I think it still keep challenge advanced.

Then, who can tell me, how to expand under deity, LARGE world (12 civ) ? AI seems crazy with millitery than ever, tons of Archer/Swordsman, must I keep peace with them ? or some better way. Pls help

      thanks a lot

I *think* it automatically razes cities of size 1 that do not have any culture. Knowing this, you could make a lightning raid on their capital city early in the game, or wait until their outpost cities' borders have grown.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).
