  • CIV3 World Map

I haven't had a chance to buy CIV3 yet (sorry guys, I do live in the middle of nowhere and I hate ordering things through post...), but I was wondering if one of you guys could post the screenshot of the CIV3 World map here.
I've heard you can make bigger maps in CIV3, and I found that the biggest problems in earlier versions of CIV were due to lousy world-maps, full of mistakes and stuff... I always had to make my own world maps, so I'm really anxious to see if they've improved the situation this time!
I'm already thanking you in advance.

The map from the box is not generally well received. However, you will find excellent maps here on this site. Be sure to look for the third-party tools and work-arounds so that you can place civilizations at appropriate initial locations.

        Xmas Rcmdn

In CIV3-FILES you will find a thread for Marla's Map with a pic.

1.) Download Marla's Map and use this map, with correct initial locations
2.) Download the Wonder backgrounds in a different thread
3.) Download the Population Head 'Mood Badges'
4.) Download one of the 'playability' patches and get started!

My recommendations will ensure you some great games, plus you can customize the game yourself!
