  • Game released before natural end of playtesting. Why?

Every MOD concerns modern unit and modern facts.
Heli are useless, some modern units are missing (chopper, air transport etc.)
Too many easy macro mistakes in modern times (you know what I mean)

    May I have your opinion?

Merry Christmas to all (Fireaxis too)

    I agree.....

I agree with you that the game does not feel finished, expecially in the modern ages. There were SO many things that I was hoping for with the game that were left out. I was really excited to see the best of CivI, CivII, Alpha Centauri, CTPI, and CTPII rolled into one gigantic, great, CIVIII - but to my dissapointment, many, many things were left out. Never-the-less, It is still a great game.......at least in my opinion.

The distributors needed it on the market in time for Christmas. All else had to take a back seat. The patch caught a glaring error. I am having fun with it, so Happy Holidays.
