    Can you raze the United Nations to prevent votes from happening every X turns? Hopefully, the UN check is made before a possible vote comes up...

    As an aside, I noticed that you can't airlift leaders around. Annoying for island games.

    That could probably be "fixed" in the editor, by ticking the "airlift" box or whatever it is in unit abilities.

    Would be interesting to try the UN thing though, see if razing it destroys the ability for diplomatic victory all together.
    If the voices in my head paid rent, I'd be a very rich man

        You can't airlift also cannon-type units (why?), Expl. type units (why?) and worker/settler units.

          Let's hurry up and build the UN so we can hurry up and destroy it.

          Ironically, this is sort of the strategy I take when trying to accomplish a non-diplomatic victory: hurry and build the UN so no one else can win that way. Yeah, I know, I can always turn off the Diplomatic Victory feature, but I enjoy the challenge of preventing the other civs from winning this way.
