OK I tried to do too much at one tÃme after havÃng won my first game..I thought i would pretty up things by adding snoopys landacape mods and the new Goodies huts and barbarians camps from the files forums.
The new landscapes looked great but I could not see any goodies hut or barbarians camps..but I kept tripping over them in what appeared to be a plain lanscape area..middle of desert nothing in sight sudden message "the XY tribe has given you a new warrior" or "your worker has been killed by a barbarian" when he tripped over their camp.
I thought it best to uninstall and reinstall and repatch.
Then to try one graphic mod at a time .
I used the uninstall from control panel and it did its thing but after many attempts is still showing in the control panel as beÃng there?
I used explorer to try and install using the set up and it just initiates uininstall and wil not re-install the game.
So someting is in my registry somewhere thinks that CIV 3 is still installed but I have even gone into file manager and cleared every sign of it..but I cannot reinstall it..What next other than either forget CIV 3 or reformat??
