BUG: A Barbarian Chiefdom

Has this happened to anyone else? I had the English try to sell me communication with "A Barbarian Chiefdom" (that is the only pronoun used for them, ie "the A Barbariand Chiefdom seeks and audience.")

When I did talk to them... i got this crazy colored animation, they had no techs and a city called "mayan" they were dark blue.

It was sooo weird.

Oh, and the game crashed soon after that.

It's been reported several times. Apparently sometimes the game actually mistakes the barbarians as an actual civ, gives them cities, then crashes trying to load a nonexistent leader head, among other problems. Just out of curiosity, did you modify your civ3mod.bic any?
