What are the requirement for Wonders?

I do not mean tech-wise. I mean before you can BUILD the thing in a city. So far I know:

Hoover Dam - city on a river
Colossus- City on a coast
JS Bach - Cathedral in city (it took me a few minutes today to realize this,, )

What other wonders require specific conditions?

I tried to build it in a size 5 city where I had yet to build a Cathedral. I got a "bloop" error sound and the click would not stick.

I tried it in one of my "core" cities which has a Cath and it worked!

Copernicus' Ob. requires being adjacent to a Hill!!

Shakespeares Lab (seemingly) can only be built in your Capitol!! (I guess it's a "royal theater?")

WHY DON'T THEY PUT THESE STIPULATIONS IN THE MANUAL??!?!
