Here is a a little experiment. My other thread that was similarly titled got a response from Dan from Firaxis. While he didn't answer alot of my questions, at least he responded, and I give him props for that. Now lets see if Infogrames is willing to brave a response to why serious concerns about the editor and multiplayer and a host of other issues (the cease and desist order, the designer's notes fiasco, etc.) are never being replied to while we are being led to believe that modification is acceptable, that a scenario-making capability will eventually appear, and that designer's notes will be included in the LE. Both Infogrames and Firaxis need to do alot more to get back the favor of veterans, and Firaxis is at least doing SOMEthing while Infogrames has remained silent. Now let's see if they ever reply?

I understand how you feel.
I too miss the multiplayer with civ III.
But the Editor sounds very cool, haven't tried it out yet.
I'm not so good editor but I have noticed that I want to change some things in the game so I would enjoy it more.
One thing I really miss are real scenario's like in Civ 2.
Also the starting places are missing in the editor with is very needed. But some people worked together and found a solution for it.
I think you just have to wait for some big changes.

There is so much good scenario-making potential in Civ 3 that the Civ 3 team failed to capitalize upon. I just can't wait to make a Civ 3 scenario, but I have no idea if I ever will be able to."The only dangerous amount of alcohol is none"-Homer Simpson

Yeah,
When I first loaded Civ 3 is read "scenario" and I thought "YES!" but wondered how you opened a map to play a world map. But first I was going to play a normal game to learn some new things (resource and stuff)
Then I came back to here to read some stuff and noticed that there are No scenario's and you can't put starting locations with the civ you want.
I was dissapointed.
Although, the resource thing, Awesome!

Was just taking the opportunity of commenting about infogreed in a rude and detrimental manner. That it was the truth was icing on the cake
And of course, it (and this post) can be considered
*Bump*sI'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).
