Good use of nukes

1. Find a piece of plain/grassland with a river running by
2. Nuke it (twice if grassland)
3. Clear off the pollution
4. You've just made a large piece of flood plain

I discovered this trick while nuking my French neighbour just for more aluminium and uranium. It doesn't give you any advantage considering the time you need to construct nukes and the resources in question.
