  • Infograms is hypocritical and evil. INFOGRAMS: PLEASE READ. Part 2.

    for earlier discussion: http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...threadid=36305

    Mark:
This thread is not wholly about the translation gaff, but moreso the general mistreatment which infograms has shown it's customers and life's blood. I can appreciate your closing the other thread in an attempt to streamline the forum, but to add this to that discussion would be a rash generalization on your part and an error not to see the inherent differences herein.

    that said:
It just isn't plausible that they would even consider offering such distrobution rights in todays world. With globalization and internet commerce as it stands, only a fool would set themselves up as something that could be no more than an indian-giver...
"Mal nommer les choses, c'est accroître le malheur du monde" - Camus (thanks Davout)

"I thought you must be dead ..." he said simply. "So did I for a while," said Ford, "and then I decided I was a lemon for a couple of weeks. A kept myself amused all that time jumping in and out of a gin and tonic."

Markos is trying to bury the hot 'anti' topics. I had every right to discuss Jeff Morris' 'Gamers Love Bugs' article, but because it was already mentioned deep inside some other thread on a different topic, he wouldn't let a focussed thread start on it.

Markos: I can appreciate you wanted to keep things positive here, but you are going too far. Let people talk. Or take my other suggestion of starting a "Rant" forum. Easy fix.
I've been on these boards for a long time and I still don't know what to think when it comes to you -- FrantzX, December 21, 2001

      Kaak,

you mentioned that you are posting about a more generic issue, but your post was a actually reply to a quote form the infogrames announcement on the specific matter!

      Yin,

yes, we are trying to bury this hot topic by being the only civ site which mentions it in it's news...
