Forcing peace between two Civs should be one of our trade choices. Often I am allied with one nation against another, and they want to make peace with me, but not the other nation. I should have the option of saying, you want peace with me, well then you have to make peace with so and so too.
Another option would be to have a trade embargo removed. I currently have an MPP with the Egyptians, and they have luxuries that I need, and I have luxuries that they need, but because of an old trade embargo that they had against me, we can't trade.
