Win95 and Civ?

Has anyone got this to work in Win '95?

I fear I may have a Safedisk error, and the cracks don't work. Someone has reported success upgrading from WIn '98 to Win '98SE.

my copy runs fine with Win95, but i did have to re-install it(win 95) b4 it would, what error messages are you getting?
