At around 9:12 this evening, as I sat and watched Egypt: Beyond the Pyramids on History Channel, on popped a commercial for Civ3! Looked really good, and they had leader animations for Cleopatra, Caesar, Gandhi, Lincoln, and Joan, as well as catapults firing, warriors with clubs, panzers blowing things up, wonders etc. Anyway, it looked real good. By the way, I was given by a friend a copy of the new bio on TR, Theodore Rex (2nd Volume in the biography on TR, with Vol. 1 "The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt, which I have in paperback) at the exact same time the commercial aired. Both things look real good. Can't wait for my copy of Civ3 to come, or to read the book. TR should have been American leader instead of Abe, in my humble opinion.
