  • How long until people realize civ3 won't be the way they want it and leave the forums

    you heard me

    I bought a game once

it was called star wars rebellion

The game sucked. I didn't play it. I moved on to other games. I did not waste countless hours on star wars rebellion forums complaining about it.

Face it folks, if you want a game programmed your way, you need to buy a computer gaming company (I suggest blizzard as they are waaaay better than Firaxis).

yes I'm trolling, but I'm certain some of you guys are so dense, you won't realize what that mean.

    Bring it on newbies!!

        comforming with who?

I may be wrong, but the majority holds the opposite viewpoint as mine. I haven't added the numbers up though.

Big difference. Some games are beyond redemption. I bought Star Wars Rebellion too. Huge disappointment. Flawed from top to bottom.

Other games, though, you can DO something about. Many of the most common gripes with Civ 3 will be relatively simple to fix, without a major overhaul. That makes all the difference in the world. I think I speak for many people when I say that Civ 3 IS going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread- but only after patching and/or mods.

And I'm sure the snotty, hostile posts of the regulars are doing a great job of running the newbies off. I'm only still around because I'm NOT a newbie, I love Civ, including Civ 3, and I have thicker skin.

Too many of the long time posters here make the mistake of assuming that all critics are unreasonable, snot-nosed whiny kids. Believe it or not, Civ 3 is not perfect, and could be better. I believe it WILL be better. That's why many of the critics hang around.

            The people speak.....

50% its just way too crowded; 50% all we are saying is give peace a chance.

It's not black & white (and thank God for that) as some of you crusaders would like to believe. Life will go on - as soon as you lot stop posting these utterly useless threads.

First of all let me ask you one thing, what planet do you come from, it sure isn't a planet where knowledge on how polls should be made is existing. This poll sux just way to much.

This poll defently need the option which somehow slipped through your "mind", the missing option is: "Who cares, the game is great as it is already"

I agree that if you want a game your way you need to be the owner of a game company, but I defetnly can't agree with the Blizzard thingy, since Blizzard always misses something in their games: To make the game funnier/better than most other games
This space is empty... or is it?
