I was wondering if there was any way to (in the editor) to choose what your starting location is? It seems that you can change everything else like what techs you start with and such but not where you civ starts. just wondering, thanx

I know this has most likely been asked before, but i can't seem to find an answer. Is there a ETA on this 'patch'? thanks

The magical mystical patch is expected at the end of the month (~Nov 30).
Don't put too much hope on it, though. Everyone's expecting the patch to miraculously cure all ills regarding Civ3, and Firaxis just hasn't had enough time.
