In the civ of the week section, it shows the Panzer tank blowing up instead of attacking, like all the previous UUs. Is this a mistake?

Nazis don´t appear in CivIII; the Panzer would be used by either German Democracy or German Communism. Perhaps Dan doesn´t like Germans.Prince of...... the Civ Mac Forum

Here's an interesting post I read at another forum related to the issue at hand:
Note - this has been edited for conciseness - the original post can be found in its entirity at the following address:
Go into a Border's bookstore or a Barne's and Noble's and look at the German section of the Eurpoean history shelves. You'd think that Germany suddenly coalesced into existence in 1927 with the expressed purpose of being the world's villians. They then just as suddenly vanished from the earth in 1945.
Unfortunately, two world wars worth of propaganda have painted a portrait of the "Murdering Hun" in the American psyche. It is doubly ironic seeing as most of our armed forces fighting in Europe in WWII were of German ancestry. People used to joke about what side Eisenhower and Nimitz were on.
The point is that many Americans seem to dislike Germans because of WWI&II. Nevermind that every fourth person in America is of German descent..

i've been called a nazi, jokingly, before by my friends though. even though i'm catholic and that doesn't really jibe well with naziism
