Got Civ3 on Friday.
All I can say is...wow.
This game is fantastic. It feels very much like CTP while playing, yet retains many of the better gameplay aspects of Civ2.
And, at long last, after years of CTP, a challenging AI that doesn't let you walk all over it during diplomacy and will actually kick your buttocks in a war.
Still, there are some missing things that should really have not gone missing--fundamentalism, sabotage water supply, plant nuke, trade military units and trade consumable products to help alleviate starvation.
If 'tweren't for those silly, silly missing things, the game would be perfect.
