Sorry if this is a too newbyish question but until when does the game last?(year). What happens when this time is reached?(Assuming you don't make any of the win objectives).

The year 2050 is the last year of the game. If no civ has won the game by then, then the Civ with the highest score wins by default.

I think you can play longer then that, but the score is no longer being kept.
