            Maybe you should have cut off your finger instead. Fingers can be reattached with microsurgery, but CD's that are cut in half just cannot be made to play anymore for some reason.
            Actually.... you CAN tape CDs up and they will play just fine. I've done it before (sometimes you have to make a brace though). I would think that a much better option than grafting a finger back on (very expensive).

              ..it depends on who's CD and who's finger it is....

              If you happen to own both then I can understand that the CD might have to get the chop..

              OTOH if it was my CIV III CD and your finger......
              tis better to be thought stupid, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
