I have a small roman empire being swept by corruption. I am in a republic and I can not even set my research to 10% because I dont have enough cash. I tried attatching the save game file but comes back saying its too big when its not. Please leave an email address and I will send it to you. Thanks in advance for any help!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, CivIII saved games are huge (why?). Go ahead and zip it (if you can), then attach it to a post. Sned it to me, and I'll take a look. I should warn you, though, corruption in CivIII is a monster that threatens to take over all of our lives!!!

      You could try starting over.

Truly, learning corruption in this game takes time, and you need to play around with different strategies. Don't build your outlying cities too far away from your capital, and it helps tremendously.

Haven't played under Republic yet. Good luck tho.

Building the HP (or is it FP), whatever -- build the second palace on the far side of the empire; Recenter your capital; build the second palace centered in a clump of cities, then rebuild your palace on the far side of your empire.....

Oh, and build every building that reduces waste and coruption.

        Good luck.
