What version is the realeased version?

I ask because I, er, have this friend who may have downloaded C3 from Morpheus and I, I mean, he, was curious as to which version he was playing...

I also understand that when the game is released in the uk he's going to buy it, 'cos he wants the book etc, and he's not a total tight*ss
