Hi all,
First off let me say how I love the game, and how wonderful Sid Meier and the Firaxis gang is. That being said, I found a pretty interesting bug.
Go to the Diplomacy screen, trade with another civ. Don't offer anything of yours, but demand they give you $100,000,000 (max out the number of 0's you can enter) per turn. Regardless of what you ask for, you will get it. Even if you ask for every one of their cities, plus the gold. Talk about powerful diplomacy!
This is obviously a cheat bug that one shouldn't use for altering games - I came across it accidentally when the French were pissing me off because I *need* access to oil, dammit! So, anyways, just wanted to pass along the interesting tidbit of bug/cheat.
