  • 16 Civs, why only 8 that we can contact?

    First off a disclaimer: I realize that the game originally was only going to have 8 Civs to choose from. It was later changed to 16.

    If I were Firaxis, I'd be embarrased to release a game where the GUI for the much-touted Foreign Policy features still only allow 8 Civilizations to interact, even if you start a game with 9-16.

    Yet another rushed game.

          All these posts saying "Firaxis cheated us", "Firaxis should be ashamed" are getting old. Most of the problems people are complaining about aren't problems at all. Many times, people just need to learn how to use the game. Firaxis has made announcements about this particular "fault." They apologized for only fitting 8 and provided a temporary solution. A more permanent solution should be included in the patch.

            I agree, they are not problems. They are features the people at Poly asked for years, that Firaxis put in at the last minute in a rush just to avoid bigger complains than those surging now.
            A more permanent solution should be included in the patch.
