    I have just found one of the probably many
    sarcastic and/or humorous lines in the Civ III's handbook.

    In the beginning... the Earth was without form and void.
    It will stay that way until you install the game and start playing.


    I'll post more when I found other good ones.

      I haven't owned the game for many hours yet,

        It's not just limited to the manual either. Read more carefully next time you decide to switch government types.
