A lot of the players seem to be broken 
I've tried raising the luxury rate, setting up trade networks to good luxury resources, building happiness structures, and even occasionally using a bit of military force, but NOTHING seems to make them content (much less happy!)
They constantly ask for new features, changes, additions, and tweaks. I just built the city for gods sake!
I've even had some players revolt and leave my city for other civilizations cities.
Typically with some rude parting message. 
They complain about corruption, about resources, and about the interface of my cities
Some of them complain its not enough like my older cities 
I'm not exactly sure what they were expecting, its a new city, it will be different in many ways.
