  • Civ3: Serious bug

A lot of the players seem to be broken

I've tried raising the luxury rate, setting up trade networks to good luxury resources, building happiness structures, and even occasionally using a bit of military force, but NOTHING seems to make them content (much less happy!)

They constantly ask for new features, changes, additions, and tweaks. I just built the city for gods sake!

I've even had some players revolt and leave my city for other civilizations cities. Typically with some rude parting message.

They complain about corruption, about resources, and about the interface of my cities Some of them complain its not enough like my older cities I'm not exactly sure what they were expecting, its a new city, it will be different in many ways.

Ah well, at least not ALL of the players seem to have this weird glitch

      uh, that's not a bug.
You just play a few levels to high. Try Warlord or Chief

I'm currently playing at emperor level, no problems at all.
Connect your cities, find resources (luxerious) trade them with other civs, build city improvements (temples) and transfer workers into entertainers.

Being the leader of your nation means you have to deal with your never satisfied citizen as well !

It ain't easy to be the king !

It was a nice piece of satire Some of the whingers around here do need to be told to simply "deal".

                  No, I'm surviving
I have about 20 cities, and own all resources on furbs and much Iron and Saltpeter. I'm a good trader (really one of the ++++ of civ3) and for that reason I'm not that much behind.

Right now I'm getting better and better.
I have good relations with all other civs, for sure since they need me for some important resources.

The Iraqoius are very behind. Sometimes I give them some techs so they won't fall back too much. They love me for that.
