I really like the game. It has it's flaws, but over time they'll be tweaked and ironed out. As it is now, this game is probably the best game I've bought in the last two years. So far I like it. But your thread caught my eye and made me think "Do I just want to love it'?. I don't think so but I have only played the game for about 5 hours so far even though I've had it for 3 days...
I think once I learn all the new features and become comfortable with the new interface and other screens I will love it more than Civ2.
I'm not worried about the bugs because Civ2 had bugs when it was released and look at how it eventually turned out!!!
