Windows XP issue resolved

For those of you who have the following problem...

Running Windows XP, the game goes blank after running the intro movie, but you can still hear the game.

The fix: You have to load the Windows Compatability Wizard in Windows XP. It's located in "Accessories". Select Windows ME/98 when you are prompted to choose an OS to operate it on. It will store this information with the program so you won't have any problems in the future.

Knew this already.. It's amazing what the "help files" in XP will tell you how to do.

I too have had no problems running it on either of my Windows XP systems.

Did you download the recent Application Compatability fixes from Windows Update?
If not, you should...

I don't know if that it, but I don't need to do anything special to run Civ3 under WinXP...
