Someone thinks the average of 94 and 89 is 93...
cons: No significant cons. End game can still be a bit tedious.
Think we know what difficulty they were on?
And why, if they've played the damn game, can they not give us new screens, rather than that stupid game played on the beta with 'Delta House'
I'm sorry..... I just think I hate Gamespy........ Probably something deeply rooted in my wireplay heritageA witty quote proves nothing. - Voltaire

REVIEWS ARE NOT ALWAYS AN AVERAGE!
Anyway... another news item to write... my work is never done... but I've beating Snapcase 3 times today already .“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

So far 3 very favorable reviews. Now if Gamespot gives the big thumbs up I would consider Civ3 a worthy successor to the Civ series."To live again, to be.........again" Captain Kirk in some Star Trek Episode. (The one with the bad guy named Henok)
"One day you may have to think for yourself and heaven help us all when that time comes" Some condescending jerk.

Graphics ARE good, and will amaze me. I never play games like CounterStrike or Diablo, so what I'll see in Civ 3 will be more than good for me.

The Game Spy review looks extremely promising. A 93% rating is difficult to surpass if we are talking about a serious review (when I mark graduate student papers I have never given more than 95%). If the overall assessment were a serious 99% or 100%, that would make the prospects of there ever being a Civ IV very remote. Even the best game in the world (as I hope Civ III will be) will have room for improvement.
