  • Question about global warming

I'd like to know more details about when global warming is triggered. I am under the impression that a global counter is incremented each turn and triggers warming when it reaches a certain point. Is this correct?

If so, how can it be affected? Are there things you can do to reduce warming on the planet? (i.e. build forests, etc)

To reduce pollution CIV III should have a Kyoto Agreement wonder.
Of course playing as the Americans would prevent you building this.

I suppose it increases by the number of pollution tiles existing each turn until it reaches a certain number. But it should also decrease in some way...
