    Defending Colonies...?

    Hey, does anyone know what kind of defense bonuses units get if fortified inside of a colony? Is it similar to defending a city where only one unit dies at a time?

    I'd like to have a colony on top of a mountain stacked with infantry and artillery... tasty...

    No defense bonus for colonies, I think. You could build a fortress though.
    Firaxis - please make an updated version of Colonization! That game was the best, even if it was a little un-PC.

      Yeah, Dan said the same thing a while back, here's a link:

      While various game ideas were still in flux when Dan wrote in that thread, I doubt the defensive values changed. It appears Firaxis wanted them weak for a reason, forcing players to protect their frontiers
