I am just glad that wonder movies are out. I never really liked them. It also means that they could improve other parts of civ more when they didn't have to make those boring video clips.

The rest were nothing special; I always turned them off in Civ2."Stuie has the right idea" - Japher
"I trust Stuie and all involved." - SlowwHand
"Stuie is right...." - Guynemer

The wonder movies are out?
Good. They were a definte waste of effort on firaxis' part. I watched a few of them when i bought the game, then turned em off. haven't turned em back on since.
Don't get me wrong, a good presentation is important. But not if it takes away from the real important parts. Specifcally AI, game balance, and strategy.
Now, consider how much time firaxis' seems to have spent on the leader heads.
Hmm, do you suppose they dropped the number of civs to 16 because they couldn't think up enough unique units, or because they couldn't afford to make those moronic heads for them all?
I'd rather they made the map, the thing i'll spend 99% of the time looking at, better, and left the diplomacy window just the plain dialog boxes.By working faithfully eight hours a day, you may get to be a boss and work twelve hours a day.
