  • Analysis of New Screenshots

This here is an analysis of the new screenshots at apolyton. Numbers go from left to right, top to bottom.

    (1) First turn of the game
    -Rivers run between tiles
-Mountains can be seen at least 1 square further than normal
-Hills can be seen at least 1 square futher than normal
-I think that the little green thing next to the worker is its strength. If you look at the green thing, then further down you can see what looks like the end of the strength mesure-er.
-White dots on some grasslands might mean shields (like in Civ2)

    (2) This shows an island/continent in the Modern/Industrial age.
    -Old Screenshot

    (3) This shows an ancient time civ
-This is an old screen that has never been seen
-Lots of green/white dots on the squares.

    (4) Another ancient civ
    -Another old/new screen
-Some interesting units like the Swordsman and cavalry are evident. The workers also seem animated.

    (5) Ancient civ
    -Another old/new screen
-Couple of new units like the Knight
-Middle Eastern style cities with walls look cool.

    (6) Ancient German Civ
-This is a relativly newer screen
-You can see what an archer looks like
    -The city walls look cool
-Berlin looks like its spreading into other square like a cancer

    (7) Modern day city screen view
-You can see some serious tanks in the top left corner and in the producting box
-The tank is called Modern Armor.

    (8) Screen of the last one but on a different part of he empire
-More tanks than I wish to meet
-A battleship which takes up like 2 squares.
-Harbor and airport icons indicate those improvements next to the cities.

    (9) Ancient screen with tanks
-Here you have the old tanks from WW2
-Some guy with a gun on the red city.

    Not much new info here.

In modern time we don't call our armor Modern Armor. I might change that but I'm not sure what to...

      Nice analysis!

I'm really glad to see tanks and modern tanks.

At the same time I could really see the icons designating a harbor and airports and they looked very nice!

Call one Sherman and one Abrams? Thats is what the pictures are after all.

We now have Sherman, Abrams and Tiger (II?) type tanks pictured in the game..... cool.
