  • List of questions to ask Mark G if he gets an advance copy of Civ 3

Hey if you get an advance copy, answering our questions is probably the last thing you want to do....but out of the kindness of your heart, could you just tell us the following:

1)How do airplanes work in combat?
2)Is it easy to wage war?
3)Is there Mutual Assured Destruction in the game?/How does it work?
    4)Is the interface smooth?
5)What is the culture system like?
6)What was the best/worst thing you came across?
7)What scenarios, if any are included?
8)What does every Government do now?
    9)Is it good?/Was civ2 better?
    10)Why have you stopped PLAYING??
11)Did you lose?/How?/What would you have done differently?
12)What features does the editor have?
13)Is there anyway for other cities to help a city building a wonder?
    14)How does unit support work?
15)Does every Civ have a unique behaviour?/What is it based on?
16)How do you create 3-D animated units?
17)Is the AI any good at waging war?
18)Are you ever coming back once you install the game?
19)What resources are in the game?/Are they hard to get ?
20)What is the complete list of buildings and wonders?
21)Are Great leaders hard to get?
22)How often do Units advance in rank?/What are the ranks?
23)How does the simplified tech tree affect the game?
24)How does the unit upgrade thing work in cities?
25)Can small wonders be rebuilt if they are destroyed?
    26)Is gameplay smooth?
27)Is the game balanced? Even with the UU's?
28)Does culture add or subtract to the game?
29)What are the barbarians like w/ encampments and all?
30)Is the A1 smart enough to use the diplomacy correctly?
32)How do resources effect the game?
33)How hard is it to trade resources with the A1?
34)Did you easily defeat the A1 or did Alexander the Great make you his woman?

I don't expect to have them all answered, but some would be nice. Oh yeah, could you also find a way to load up the end game summery for us all to see?

35 ) Is there civil war in it?
36 ) Did you think about renaming the Greeks to the Macedonians just for fun ( hey, the leader's authentic )
37 ) Did you do it?
38 ) Can you post the manual on Ap?
    39 ) Why not?
40 ) OK then can you NOT mail it to me. Just DON'T send me an E-mail which it ISN'T an attachment to. *wink-wink*

Give the man a break guys, he'll be so busy answering your questions there will be no time to play the game.

But I hope that the day by day impressions will be in, and Mark will finish it this time unlike CTP2.

there will be day by day impressions.
the full ctp2 review was hit by time constraints and "negative vibes" on the forums

          My questions:

          Where do you live?
          When will you be home?
          Do you lock your door?

          j/k
