  • What On Earth Does This Mean?

I was reading through the update to the FAQ, and someone asked a question about aliens, and Firaxis gave this reply:

There will not be any aliens showing up in Civilization III. Unless you mean the alien shapeshifter that assumed the form of Alexander the Great, in which case we have no comment.

What has happened with Alexander the Great? Are they referring to the fact that they have changed his appearance? Have they given him his long hair back? Yay!

    LOL

But seriously, it is common knowledge that Alex was an alien and the great-great grandfather of Jesus Christ. That's how he could walk on water. Jesus, that is.

Well to compare a poxy conjurers trick like walking on water with conquering the known world would probably seem insignificant to Alexander the Great

Now can we have some replies? Do you reckon they have changed the appearance of Alexander the Great???

Nah, I think it just means that Dan was joking on Apolyton's complaining on Alexander's picture.

I think he was just being funny. It is a rather amusing questions given Civ's history, so. I think there is nothing to it, but I could be wrong.

Hey, Harrison is Deity. Congrats, mate! How does one gain so many points?

But seriously, is there space for aliens in Civ? I know CtP had them, but Sid's Civ? Could Roswell be implemented somehow as a part of the new Propaganda machine?

                        Just a thought...

                          Earthling- just one word: editor!

The editor is looking like it can do a lot, and more. I am sure Alexander the Green can be included somehow.
