The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Just so long as it is virtually impossible to convert cities on the other side of the world, landlocked and in the middle of enemy civs, I'll be happy!
Haphazard's point of view is actually quite interesting.
You take over the world by culture, by using the
propaganda function in remote cities (at least one of each
enemy civs' cities). When you have sattelites around
the world, just wait until they merge with your civ.
Then build cultural buildings and achieve their loaylty.
After that, the sonds spread their cultural influx to
neighboring cities the process. As the time passes, those
cities will also fall. After many years (it certainly
takes plenty of time) you might have cultural domination.
I think the cultural domination is my favourite
way to win in Civ III (even if I haven't played it yet).
BTW, the peaceful regime alternative is a nice one too.
