  • Questions for anyone who receives an advance copy of the game.

I saw a thread exactly like this at CivFanatics and thought I'd start it here.

The idea is to propose any questions you have on the game and hopefully have some definitive answers when people here start receiving their advance copies.

Here are the few I asked:

    1. Are Great Leaders as scarce to get ad Dan Mahgna (sp?) says they are?

    2. How often do units upgrade in rank after a fight? After every successful fight in which they win, is it random?

    3. How does the "simplified" tech tree play out, do the tech's take longer, have a greater impact, what?

    4. How does the unit upgrade thing work in cities?

Let's get a good list going so we can have juicy details about the game.

Actually some already have advance copies, but no info is allowed out before 22 October.

That's only three days, lets get ready people!

I want to know how easy it is to get the resources one needs to survive, and what impact culture really has on outlying cities.

Not really that long... I have a three day weekend. Anyway, I wanna know how much impact Culture really has. And I wanna know how Nukes and Air Combat really work.
