I am wondering how trading resources works in the new bargaining table system. When you trade a resource to another civ, is it an indefinite arrangement or is it for a certain number of turns? If it's indefinite, then how do you back out of the arrangement later? And if it's for a certain number of turns, then do you have the option to break out of the agreement before it expires? If so, I assume there would be a reputation penalty.

Hopefully the answer is that both the indefinite and fixed duration options are available, and that you can break the arrangement at any time if you're willing to suffer the reputation penalty.
Firaxis - please make an updated version of Colonization! That game was the best, even if it was a little un-PC.

As far as I know it is indefinate but you can cancel any trade deals after 20 turns..... I read that somewhere I think.

I hope you're right Faboba! Circomstances change, and in this game, they can change quickly. I wouldn't want to be committed to a trade deal for much longer than 20 turns.

You can actually cancel a deal at any time, but it must last for 20 days to be able to cancel it peacefully.
