Did anyone notice the borders on the new screenshots? The borders pass through or behind forests!!!! GREAT STUFF!
The screenshots are super polished. They definitely look like the final product!'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

Also a couple screenshots show the city production as "Wealth."
Not sure if we knew this already, but cities can produce gold instead of improvements at a much earlier stage than Civ II (where I think you needed Corporation to produce "Capitalization").Eine Spritze gegen Schmerzen, bitte.

Yes...some promising stuff. I only hope I can turn THIS stuff off, LOL!:
As for the Samurai ( and to a lesser extent man-o-war ) did you ever even doubt it?
I'm a big buzzed about the French one. They probably just didn't want to make it a knight as they already had ( one? two ) knight based unique units.
How obviously the Man-O-war is a jazzed Galleon, but what is the Samurai?A witty quote proves nothing. - Voltaire

Yes, the effeminate cloth merchants gulping down a womanly breath of air upon first seeing my pink French civ doesn't do much for my macho Civ-image.I've been on these boards for a long time and I still don't know what to think when it comes to you -- FrantzX, December 21, 2001
