  • A Poem for Peace Among the Civvers

I hope the best despite some signs,
Making a positive turn on pessimistic designs.
Referring always to the past and what's good,
    And reminding people always
Not to dwell on what 'could.'

    ...and...

Yesterday's faults so easily made plain...by
Insightful critics with nothing to gain...hoping simply
Never to see such errors again.

    (darn, 'Yin' is too short...unfair!)

PEACE IN CIV LAND! (...until we determine what bugs might bite us, of course )
I've been on these boards for a long time and I still don't know what to think when it comes to you -- FrantzX, December 21, 2001

"Yin": Your friendly, neighborhood negative cosmic force.

There was a young Civver named Yin
whose opinions were viewed as a sin
though he worked in the east
      and wished us all peace
And now let the flaming begin!
      Eine Spritze gegen Schmerzen, bitte.

          nice one
The eagle soars and flies in peace and casts its shadow wide Across the land, across the seas, across the far-flung skies. The foolish think the eagle weak, and easy to bring to heel. The eagle's wings are silken, but its claws are made of steel. So be warned, you would-be hunters, attack it and you die, For the eagle stands for freedom, and that will always fly.

Darkness makes the sunlight so bright that our eyes blur with tears. Challenges remind us that we are capable of great things. Misery sharpens the edges of our joy. Life is hard. It is supposed to be.

But he gave up the fight

that dissing CIV3 is a Sin!

              ...couldn't resist ....
tis better to be thought stupid, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Come on Imran, let's put this thread on the Apolyton news!
"We are reducing all the complexity of billions of people over 6000 years into a Civ box. Let me say: That's not only a PkZip effort....it's a real 'picture to Jpeg heavy loss in translation' kind of thing."
